Dr. Susan Hazels Mitmesser, PhD, serves as Director of Nutrition Research at NBTY, Inc. In this position, Susan provides strategic scientific leadership for innovation and new product development, and ensures the scientific integrity all brands and products. She is also an Adjunct Professor in the College of Family Medicine at Stony Brook University. She has been published in many peer-reviewed journals and is a contributing author for book chapters relating to nutrition in adult and pediatric populations. Susan’s passion for wellness includes participating in short- and middle-distance triathlons, and getting her young children to eat more fruits and vegetables.
