William Walsh, Ph.D., founded The Walsh Research Institute in June 2008 with the aim of continuing his research efforts into a range of mental disorders, and training doctors around the world in advanced nutritional treatment of these disorders. Dr. Walsh was the founder and chief scientist of the Health Research Institute in 1982, and Pfeiffer Treatment Center in Naperville, IL in 1989, where individualized nutrient therapy has been provided to more than 14,000 patients with behavior disorders, ADHD, learning problems, autism, depression, and schizophrenia. Dr. Walsh has authored over 200 scientific articles and reports and made numerous presentations on his research.

Host Dr. Kevin Passero and his special guest Dr. Deanna Minich will be discussing phytonutrients and aging.
Deanna Minich, PhD, FACN, CNS, is Vice President for Research & Development Communications for Metagenics. She has published over 15 articles in peer-reviewed, scientific journals, and has published three books on nutrition. At Metagenics, Dr. Minich’s numerous responsibilities include research and innovation, formulation, investigation, education and communication, as well as counseling patients at the Functional Medicine Research Center.

Host Dana Laake and her special guest John F. Crawford, Ph.D., will be discussing micronutrient testing for nutritional status and health implications in common chronic conditions.
John F. Crawford, Ph.D. is the Senior Vice President of Operations for SpectraCell Laboratories. Dr. Crawford oversees the daily operations of the laboratory and works closely with the University of Texas Biochemical Institute to develop new assays. He has 25 years of operating and general management experience in the clinical laboratory industry.
