Guest: Hannah Bradford is an acupuncturist and researcher with training in nutrition, herbal medicine, and homeopathy. She is certified in Biological Medicine through the Paracelsus Klinik in Switzerland and has completed further training at the Klinghardt Academy in the United States. Her training with Deitrich Klinghardt includes Autonomic Response Testing, neural therapy, light therapy and detoxification and immune system regeneration strategies.
She is also an Adjunct Faculty member for Alternative and Complementary Medicine in the Milken Institute School of Public Health at the George Washington University and an Instructor in Nursing at Marymount University. She has served on the Data Safety and Monitoring Board for Complementary and Alternative Medicine at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland and was Co-Principal Investigator of an NIH-funded study of Breech Version by Acumoxa at the Georgetown University Medical Center.
Her prior activities include: Course Director for the core curriculum project in Complementary and Alternative Medicine at the George Washington University School of Medicine, Co-Founder of the Society for Acupuncture Research, and writer/editor of CAM Communications and Reports, an electronic newsletter for associations and corporations covering the White House Commission on Complementary and Alternative Medicine Policy.
Her background includes strategic planning for American Medical International and HealthCare Corporation of America. Her concentration in the final years of consulting was in acquisition and development of health maintenance organizations.
During her first years of acupuncture practice, she also served as Washington Office Director and then Executive Director of the American Association for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. As the lead manager for the organization she created the successful effort for FDA reclassification of acupuncture needles, implemented the organization’s first corporate structure and management systems, organized several annual conferences, and initiated relationships with outside public and private Integrative Medicine organizations.
Her degrees include a Masters in Acupuncture, a Masters in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Professional Science.

Dr. Mary S. Babcock, DO, is a practicing physician at the National Spine & Pain Centers in the Washington, DC metro area. She specializes in treating traumatic muscular and neuromuscular injuries and other chronic pain conditions such as arthritis, back, neck and pelvic pain, degenerated or herniated discs, fibromyalgia, and neuropathy. She is equally accomplished in alternative treatments, including osteopathic manual medicine, medical and auricular acupuncture, and Botox injections for pain. Bernarda Zenker, MD, is a Board Certified Family Physician through the American Academy of Family Medicine. Her special interest is in integrating physical, emotional and spiritual health.
