Steve Christensen, MD, is the Medical Affairs Consultant for Thorne. He received his degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine and completed his family medicine residency at McKay-Dee Hospital Center in Ogden, Utah. A board-certified family physician, he practiced the full gamut of rural medicine, much of it as a solo practitioner, in Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Oregon and Montana. After leaving medical practice in 2003, Steve and his wife Tonya owned and operated a nutrition and health food store in Newport, Oregon, before returning to the Inland Northwest.
